There is a journey book to be completed for each area in Animal Jam. In order to complete the journey books, you must find all of the animals and other items in the area. This can be difficult if you don’t know what to look for. That’s why I’ve created guides for each area in Jamaa.
Below you’ll find cheats for every journey book for where to find each item. Some animals may be hiding so you have to wait for them to come out. Here is where you can find all of the items for the land and ocean areas.
On November 16th, the Traveling Salesman stayed in Jamaa Township for an additional day due to a glitch which prevented Animal Jam members from buying items. On February 13th, sapphire shop clothing items were sold for the first time along with items that didn't receive a rare tag.

- River Race was an Animal Jam mini-game found in Jamaa Township. It's playable up to four players, and the goal is to get to the finish line before everyone else. River Race was then replaced with a pet game called Ducky Dash, but some Jammers do have the den item version of.
- In the Animal Jam Insiders Guide, AJHQ writes a description of Jamaa Township. Here it is: This bustling place is where Jammers go to get the latest news, meet buddies, trade, shop, invite others to parties, see the statue of Mira, and just to hang out.
